A deconstructed version of the classic Napoleon cake, this no-fuss dessert layers buttery, toasted crumbs with a smooth, rich custard. It’s incredibly easy to make and always impressive.

Ingredients

For the Crumbs:

  • 2 large egg yolks

  • 1 cup (240ml) milk

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
