Cream Cheese Cake

  1. Step 1: Prep & Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a round cake pan (8 or 9 inches) by greasing and flouring it.
  2. Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add sugar and beat until well combined. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract and melted butter until the batter is smooth.
  3. Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
  4. Step 4: Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Step 5: Cool & Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice it into wedges and serve with your favorite toppings.
