Flan in a glass: Delicious and creamy dessert in just a few steps
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
100g sugar (for the caramel)
Preparation Instructions:
See the next page.
1. Prepare the caramel: Place the sugar in a pan over medium heat and let it melt until you get a golden caramel. Pour the hot caramel into the glasses you will use for the flan, coating the bottom of each one.
2. Mix the ingredients: In a bowl, beat the eggs with the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until you get a smooth, even consistency.
3. Pour into glasses: Pour the flan mixture into the glasses, over the caramel you prepared earlier.
4. Cook in a bain-marie: Place the glasses on a baking sheet with hot water (approximately 2-3 cm of water) and bake at 180°C for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
5. Cool and serve: Let the flans cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Serving and storage tips:
Serve the flan directly from the glass, garnished with fresh fruit or a little more caramel.
It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
For an extra touch, add some whipped cream or a sprig of mint when serving.
