Sprinkle 1 spoon! Suddenly the weakest Orchid takes root and blooms all year round

Today, I will share with you how to care for orchids whose flowers have faded. I have three orchids that I purchased at a very affordable price. You can often find orchids with faded flowers at a discounted price in markets. These orchids need proper care, including replanting in fresh soil and providing essential nutrients. I will also show you how to combine these three orchids into one pot.

To begin, I will use turmeric powder to disinfect the orchids and provide them with vitamin support. Turmeric is especially beneficial for repairing diseased orchid roots. I take about a teaspoon of turmeric powder and place it in a glass. Then, I add 200 ml of boiling water and mix it well. I will let this mixture sit in a cool place for about 30 minutes to cool down.

While the turmeric mixture is cooling, I will prepare the orchids. First, I remove the plastic bags covering the orchids and prune the branches. When orchids have yellow, dried branches, it is essential to cut them from the base. This promotes healthy new growth. In my case, all the flower branches of these orchids have turned completely yellow, so I carefully cut them off at the bottom.

Next, I check the topsoil of the orchids and notice that it is slightly moldy. This is a sign of overwatering. Orchids should never be given too much water, nor should they be left standing in water for extended periods, as this can lead to root rot. Proper drainage is crucial for orchid health.

By now, the turmeric mixture has cooled, and it is time to strain it. When filtering, it is important not to include the sediment at the bottom, as it can stick to the orchid roots. Once strained, I dilute the turmeric solution by adding 800 ml of water, making a total of 1 liter of liquid fertilizer.

To disinfect the orchids, I place them in a large bowl filled with this turmeric solution. The first step in this process is to immerse the leaves in the water for about 10 seconds. This can be repeated three times to ensure thorough disinfection. After treating the leaves, I submerge the roots in the turmeric water. I gently move the roots around so they can absorb the solution evenly. I leave the orchids soaking in this mixture for about 30 minutes. This process helps eliminate any diseases or insects that might be present on the orchid roots while providing essential nutrients.

Once the orchids have soaked in the turmeric solution, I remove them and prepare for the next step: planting them in new soil. Fresh soil is necessary for healthy orchid growth. I use a transparent flower pot because it allows the roots to receive sunlight. For the soil, I have chosen washed pine bark, which provides good aeration and drainage.
